Dr. Christina (“Tina”) Dardis is an Assistant Professor of Psychology, who came to TU in Fall 2017. Dr. Dardis teaches courses in the area of Clinical Psychology, including undergraduate courses such as Abnormal Psychology, Intrdocution to Helping Relationships, and Systems and Techniques of Psychotherapy. She also teaches graduate courses for the Master’s Program in Clinical Psychology, including Advanced Abnormal Psychology and a course on Trauma and PTSD. She is also delighted to be a new faculty advisor for Psi Chi!

President- Sarah Elsayed
Sarah is a senior Psychology major and Biology minor who is on the Pre-med track. She is interested in biopsychology. Her dream is to become a pediatric psychiatrist. Sarah is in the thesis program researching the interaction between anxiety and working memory with Dr. McGinley. Sarah is in Dr. McGinley's Emotion Science lab and Dr. Devan's Comparative Neuroscience lab. In her free time, she enjoys reading, outdoor nature walks, and spending time with her family and friends.

Vice President- Ahmed Al Khafaji
Ahmed is a senior who’s majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology & Behavioral Neuroscience. He’s in Dr. Devan’s Cognitive Neuroscience Lab as a research assistant. He is also currently working as a medical interpreter. He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, and riding his bike during his free time.

Secretary- Samantha Rolnick
Sam is a senior with a double major in Anthropology/Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She is from New York. She is involved in Loyola-Towson Army ROTC. She is also a member of the Criminal Justice National Honor Society and is the co-chair of the Young Leader’s Forum involving female ROTC cadets. She enjoys learning about topics that involve Sensation and Perception, Social Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology. Sam plans on going into the Army and eventually studying behavioral patterns in humans. In her spare time, she likes to go to the gym, listen to music, hang out with friends and family, and watch Netflix. A fun fact about her is that she went to Airborne School during the summer of 2017 and jumped out of planes 5 times to get her jump wings!

Iah is a senior Psychology major. She wants to become a Clinical Psychologist in the future. She is also interested in Social and Cross-Cultural Psychology. She wants to work with and help minorities and immigrants because they tend to avoid therapy. In her free time, she likes to make music, learn languages, travel, and play with her dog.

She enjoys learning about topics that involve Sensation and Perception and Social Psychology. Sarah plans to attend graduate school after her senior year in hopes to become a psychologist specializing with children who have experienced trauma in their lives. In her spare time, she likes to listen to music, hang out with friends and family, and watch Netflix. A fun fact about her is that she also has her Cosmetology license!
